What You Need To Know About Staying at The Aspens

The Aspens has two laundry rooms, one on the ground floor and one on Parking level P-2.

They are coin-op washers and dryers, however, payment can also be made using the app “Pay Range”. The Wifi signal can sometimes be weak, so it is best to download the app before going into the laundry room.

Laundry soap is available for purchase if you have not brought your own laundry products.

Pets are not allowed on the property or in units, other than those of an owner. Fines apply.

All pets must be leashed or otherwise secured when on common property.

Please pick up after your pets and deposit it in the garbage compactor in the garbage room, or there are public garbage cans along the many pathways of Whistler Blackcomb.

Note: There are several locations when walking to and through the village where you can obtain (free) poop and scoop bags to facilitate this.

No smoking of any kind is allowed in any unit, public space, or outside of The Aspens property.

• The bylaws state that the term “smoke” or “smoking” includes but is not limited to inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying of a lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, hookah pipe, or other lighted smoking equipment that burns tobacco or other weed substances including but not limited marijuana; the burning, combusting and/or vaporizing of:
• Tobacco of any type
• Any plant, plant product, or by-product
• Any drugs or pharmaceuticals including but not limited to marijuana, crack cocaine, hashish, methamphetamines, or heroin
• E-liquids or other substances used in vaporizers, electronic cigarettes, or similar appliances which allow for the inhalation of vapour of atomized liquids or substances

For the purposes of this bylaw “vape” or “vaping” includes inhaling, exhaling, vaporizing or carrying, or using an activated e-cigarette.

For the purposes of this bylaw “marijuana” includes any plant grown or cultivated and harvested from the cannabis plant. The Prohibition does not exempt medical marijuana use. Fines apply.

The Aspens has a small building near the entrance that houses communal recycling bins, compost bins and a garbage compactor.

The Resort Municipality of Whistler has a goal to reduce waste going to landfills through Reuse, Reduce and Recycle programs. 

Please collect recyclables, compostable organics and garbage separately and dispose in the plastic bins in the garbage building. 

PLEASE, do not place bags of recyclables as the bags are often plastic that cannot be recycled. 

Compost can be direct dumped into the bins or dumped using biodegradable compostable bags.

Bagged household garbage should be placed in the compactor.
